Global hospitality behemoth Accor has struck agreements with Fragrance Group and Global Premium Hotels to open two new-build projects comprising three hotels. By 2027 these hotels are expected to open.
Situated on Hoe Chiang Road, one of the sites will comprise the 808-room Mövenpick Singapore, the biggest Mövenpick hotel in Asia Pacific. Furthermore housed here will be Mövenpick Living Singapore, with 37 extended-stay rooms. After Hotel Faber Park Singapore opens in late 2023, the second property on Waterloo Street will provide a new 502-room hotel under Accor’s Handwritten Collection brand.
“This agreement highlights the great demand from owners and investors for Accor’s brands and our dedication to shape the future of hospitality in Asia,” said Garth Simmons, COO of Accor’s premium, midscale, and economy business in Asia. The three new hotels are the most recent in a long-standing alliance between Fragrance Group and Global Premium Hotels, which today run three hotels in the UK, five in Australia, and seventeen hotels in Singapore under different Accor brands.
